KIDSLINK CARES FOR MOTHERS &
LADIES OF ALL AGES.
In 2002 Marilyn
Hanna had a real compassion for the ladies of Mozambique.
In Africa, generally ladies are not treated really well
and are seen as much less important than men or even children.
Often ladies are little more than slaves. Things are changing. but
it takes time. Education is also needed in many areas. As an
example; It is a belief that when ladies are pregnant they will not
eat anything that is 'tough' or hard to chew, like meat. They
believe that it will go down and when the baby tries to eat it,
that it will get stuck in it's throat. So, at the very time they
should be having more protein and iron, they actually have
less.
Education and
ministry to these ladies help a lot in lifting self worth and
esteem as well as a practical education in everyday life and
living.

The 2007
ladies seminar in Beira - Mozambique.

Some of the
delightful ladies who came along for the two day
seminar.

Lidia, our
kidslink representative in Africa organized the seminar
and food for
the two days. A job well done !
HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT COMING ON A TRIP
TO HELP MINISTER TO LADIES LIKE THESE?
