Lidia
Jose - is a director of
Kidslink Africa and is in charge of all of the training of
childrens workers across the country. Lidia is married to
Felizado and has a daughter Colleen. With a real enterprenual
flair for business Lidia also looks after the SEWING PROJECT and
oversees our rural block of land in Nhangau. She ensures that
vegetables and rice (in season) are grown, sold and the money goes
to the KIDSLINK AFRICA ministry.
Lidia has a real heart for
kids and trains other young leaders to help her in this ministry.
Kidslink Africa relies so
very much on Lidia.
More financial support is
needed for Lidia.
 Jonas
Quembo - is also a director of
KIDSLINK AFRICA an is a gifted man in many areas.
Married to Guida and they have a son,
Jireldo.
Jonas is great at
administrative matters and government relations. Overseeing the
building projects Jonas uses Excel and word to keep the project
finances and reporting back to Australia for taxation projects. As
well as these duties he Pastors a church dedicated to reaching out
to the youth of Mozambique, the NEW GENERATION
CENTRE.
 Massamba ( Official Name
Domingos Pinto Francisco Massamba) is a director of
KIDSLINK AFRICA and is so needed for his personal qualities.
He is in charge of our building projects and is a "tradesman"
he loves to build. The new school at M'Batwe is his project
and is a testament to his abilities. Water wells, sewerage systems
- he takes them all in his stride.
Married to Christina they
have four children - Alberto, Emanuela and Hosenu (twins) and
little David.
Massamba is a wonderful
warm and caring man, he Pastors a church in his local community and
you can see his love for the people.
More financial support is
needed for Massmba.
 Vasco - is on a partial
sponsorship which enables him to complete his schooling while
working with Lidia in training childrens workers. The money he
receives is monitored by Lidia. He now has a bank account and is
saving some money as he wants to go to university. Under
"Mamma" Lidia he gets clothes and an 'occasional' ice cream.
Vasco's mother is working in our sewing machine project
so the family now have a reasonable income.
Vaso has been taking
classes of children and teaching them since he was just 9 years old
- one cool guy - going places.
